Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. Provides administrative support in other areas as required. Performs a variety of HR activities such as benefits administration, policies and procedures, payroll/HRIS administration and file maintenance.
Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for 401k reporting and processing.
Coordinates benefit deductions with payroll and updates as necessary.
Audits employee information and updates deduction information with payroll.
Prepares mass mailings and coordinates department mail distribution.
Assists with open enrollment.
Processes new vendors, POs and invoices through Oracle.
Processes benefits enrollment for new employees; processes all changes; reconciles benefit statements.
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 information.
Prepares new employee files & new hire packets with related paperwork.
Assists with preparing separation letters and cobra notifications.
Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions.
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files and maintains all personnel records.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions including employment verification.
Supports management with special projects and workflow process improvements and other duties as assigned.

Communicates clearly and concisely in a variety of communication settings and styles. Effectively tailors the message to the needs of the audience.
Establishes goals and objectives which are specific, measurable, achievable and relevant.
Lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner.
Education and Experience
Bachelor degree is preferred.
High level of proficiency in MS Excel is required.
Three or more years of experience in human resources support or related field required.
Typically sits or stands for extended amount of time in front of a computer.
As needed, lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
May be required to move about to coordinate work.
Ability to communicate or exchange ideas by means of verbal or written word to impart information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed Instructions to other workers.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Must be able to travel as needed.
